Jennifer L. King, Esq.

Founder, Law Office of Jennifer L. King, PC

Jennifer L. King is a Bay Area family law attorney who helps people through divorce and other family law disputes during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her approach is clear, honest, and practical. She focuses on helping clients understand their options, make sound decisions, and move forward with as much stability as possible.

Jennifer works exclusively in family law. Her practice includes divorce, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, domestic violence restraining orders, and complex property division. She is also appointed by the court to serve as minor’s counsel, which means she represents the interests of children in custody cases when the court determines they need an independent voice.

Clients often describe Jennifer as straightforward and candid. She works toward settlement when it makes sense, and she is fully prepared to litigate when it does not. She keeps her practice intentionally small so she can stay closely involved in each case and provide thoughtful guidance rather than rushed or reactive advice.

Jennifer earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, she worked in the University of Illinois Domestic Violence Clinic and the Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Clinic. That experience continues to shape how she works with families facing conflict and high-stress situations.
