Noel E. Guth

Associate Attorney

Noel E. Guth is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Jennifer L. King, PC, where she focuses exclusively on family law. She represents clients in matters involving divorce, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, domestic violence, and post-judgment modifications.

A lifelong California resident, Noel earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Although originally accepted to medical school, her path shifted after interning at a San Luis Obispo law firm during her final undergraduate year. That experience sparked her passion for advocacy and led her to pursue law. She went on to earn her J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego.

During law school, Noel devoted herself to public interest law. She volunteered with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s HIV and AIDS Legal Services Project, earning the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services twice and being recognized as a Volunteer of the Year. She also assisted at clinics throughout San Diego County, helping clients with housing, debt, and Social Security matters.

After law school, Noel worked as a paralegal at a civil litigation boutique focusing on family law and estate planning, honing her skills in drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal research. Her detailed preparation helped secure a difficult victory for a grandmother seeking visitation with her deceased son’s children — an experience she later wrote about in an article published by Santa Barbara Lawyer Magazine (November 2014).

Today, Noel applies her breadth of litigation experience exclusively to family law, where her attention to detail, strong writing skills, and client-centered approach make her a trusted advocate. Clients value her ability to explain complex legal issues clearly, prepare thoroughly, and provide calm guidance during difficult transitions.
